"A mentor is a more experienced individual, willing to share his/her knowledge and experiences with someone less experienced than themselves, in a relationship of mutual trust, and to provide assistance, in respect of the mentee's career development and aspirations for the future".

Who would be your mentor? Laraine Callow (deaf) has held management positions in a variety of organisations (charitable, education, commercial) and has mentored many deaf professionals and deaf managers in local government, social work, charity, commercial organisations. Self employed people and others have also benefited from Deafworks' mentoring.
You as a mentee You would be expected to keep a file of notes, thoughts, action plans, discussion notes, etc plus information given by the mentor as mentoring is an active learning process which is totally confidential!
