Are you a member of staff at an arts centre? an art gallery or museum? a theatre or cinema? an historical building?

Tell us what you want as Deafworks Arts can offer you a variety of support.

Training We can offer Deaf Awareness at your premises or you can come to us - the next workshop will be on 15th May 08 (email us for details) in Kings Cross, London EC1.

What else can we offer? 

  • A one-off meeting with Deafworks to discuss your programme for D/deaf visitors (Let's make sure your programme is accessible and deaf-friendly),
  • A planning meeting with Deafworks for a specific event (Tick off a specially written shopping list so you know everything has been covered),
  • Support at your arts workshop or event (We can host, support and evaluate your event),
  • Initial consultation meeting and follow up report from Deafworks (Your access programme is brand new and you need some advice),
  • Employment and support of Deaf arts development worker (We have years of experience of employing deaf staff & in advising others),
  • Management and support of gallery sign language interpreted talks (We can help you plan your signed talks).
  • Deafworks has also researched and produced publications for arts venues.
  • Laraine Callow, Director is an assessor for an arts award organisation.

Deafworks has wide experience of working in the visual arts and the Deaf Community. We have worked with most of the London art galleries and museums and other centres. We work all over the UK.
