Coaching you for your interview

Need to get that job?

You are always shortlisted but never get the job
You enjoy your interviews but feel you talk too much
You get very nervous  and dry up completely
You get confused with the panel and the interpreter
You don’t have enough experience for the job

If you answer “yes” to any of the above, then book Laraine Callow for a one hour interview coaching session. This is what people have said up to now: (all real quotes, by the way)

‘Laraine was great, I felt she really listened to what I was saying’
‘I came in depressed and left feeling “Yes I can!”’
‘I hadn’t realised how much I was waffling’
‘It was an interesting experience giving my answers (to questions) and then seeing Laraine using the same words but in a different way – weird but just right!’
‘I get very nervous and often miss the point of the question. Laraine showed me how to take it in, pause and rephrase the question to check with the panel that I had understood the question. This ‘buying time’ technique really helped me’.
‘My answers were always too long. I learnt how to answer the question and then wait for the panel to decide if that was enough. If not they would then ask me a supplementary question.’
‘I have volunteered at work to sit on interview panels so that I can see what it is like on the other side of the desk. Wow! Now I know what interviewers are looking for. That was great advice by Laraine’.

How it works
Book a one-hour session by emailing Nicholas on NJC@Deafworks.co.uk with two suggested dates and times.  The fee per hourly session includes pre-prep by email, advice and guidance and people to contact, and e-follow up for three months afterwards.

1.       ‘Ask for a free half hour if you can’t afford a full session. This will be a one off session with no follow up – but just enough to get you going’.

2.       ‘Book a full one hour session or a series of 3 or 4 if you think you need a longer time frame to work through your options’.

Remember to be clear which option you are going for: option 1 or option 2.

3.       ‘Hourly rates will vary as to whether you are paying for yourself or your company is paying for you’.
