is for a wide spread of D/deaf arts practitioners who want to discuss networking, funding & career opportunities in drama, dance, poetry, visual arts, etc
London Deaf Arts Practitioners & Professionals Facebook Group
It was pointed out to me (thanks Martin G) that I run two similar groups – oops – this was because this group was for non artists as well – but including related professionals (such as D/deaf education officers in art galleries & museums etc). If you are a member of this group perhaps you could all move over to the Deaf Arts Practitioners Network London Facebook Group this year? Or is that asking too much?!
Arts Council Funding
Some of you will know that the Arts Council will be changing the way they give funding from April 2012 (as well as having a 29.6% funding reduction). If anyone has any news on how the new system will work for D/deaf arts practitioners, do let us know. Let’s be ready for April 2012!
Deafinitely Theatre

All the best until next time (and keep your news items coming in).
