We will come to you
Who
Your organisation probably has deaf customers, clients or visitors and you are looking for training for yourself or colleagues who may have contact with deaf people.
Aim
Deafworks has the longest established reputation for its in-depth Deaf Awareness training. Although we work within a general framework for our courses, we always tailor the content to meet your precise needs so you will be able to meet the challenges of your job, and contact deaf people, quickly and easily. Tell us what you need.
What you get : 3 phases
1. Email correspondence to discuss what you would like to see on the course & any other requests you may have
2. Communication and access to information are the two central issues for deaf people. We also provide you with a greater understanding of deafness, including a topic which is rarely properly discussed, etiquette. You will have the opportunity to discuss and share experiences with other hearing professionals from a wide variety of professional needs. You also get one of the best Deaf Awareness trainers in the U.K.
3. Email advice from Laraine about your deaf related project at work, for the following four months – all free!
How it works : 2 ways
Contact Nicholas Callow for a discussion – on 020 7689 0033 or njc@deafworks.co.uk – tell us where you are and which dates are best for you so we can come to you (we run courses all over the U.K.)
Want to come to us? Book a place via our application form.
You are welcome to email us with your specific requirements too. Do tell us what you want us to cover!

Working with a deaf colleague
Maybe this is more what you are looking for? We can come to your workplace and run a “Working with a deaf colleague” session for between 3 and 10 staff. Call or email us to discuss exactly what you want.
“I am very happy to report that there has been a HUGE improvement in terms of awareness and communication with my team. I feel a lot happier seeing them make a lot of effort” (deaf colleague at the BBC)
