Deaf Awareness Trainers

For D/deaf people only

You have responsibility for delivering Deaf Awareness within your organisation.
You would like to deliver Deaf Awareness on a self employed basis to a variety of organisations.

Aim

We can deliver a series of one day workshops for you or run a residential weekend for you and your colleagues on these topics :

  • Developing different delivery styles
  • Identifying participants needs and designing tailormade course programmes
  • Responding to participants learning styles and adjusting delivery methods
  • Access to different deaf awareness materials and trying them out and identify which works best for you
  • Video presentations at different stages throughout the course and assessment carried out
  • Live short presentations and receiving feedback from trainers & course colleagues

We can offer as an extra

An individual mentoring session from the trainer to watch, support and assess you delivering  a real Deaf Awareness session and providing feedback. (Fees will depend on location & times)
